Emily Lewis
Chief of Recruitment and Promotion
HOBY Youth Leadership
Emily Lewis (she/her) is a 2002 Kansas HOBY alumna and she has extensive HOBY volunteer experience. Emily served 19 years as a dedicated HOBY volunteer, taking on eleven roles at nearly every level for Kansas HOBY and the World Leadership Congress (WLC), culminating in her leading the Kansas HOBY Corporate Board and chairing the 2016 WLC.
Emily’s volunteer work not only strengthened her commitment to HOBY, but also solidified her desire to pursue graduate education in youth development and a career in the nonprofit world. With a professional background that has combined vision development, fundraising, marketing and communications, and program development, Emily joined the HOBY Headquarters team in October of 2021. Emily lives in Austin, TX with her partner and she loves to watch crime documentaries, find yummy new places to eat, and spend time with her family, especially her niece, Ada!

Natalie Gaudette (Moderator)
Leadership Seminar Chair
HOBY Maryland
Natalie Gaudette (she/her) is a 2007 HOBY Maryland and World Leadership Congress alumna and she has volunteered in many capacities at 17 sites around the country in roles including Director of Recruitment and Fundraising, to Director of Staff, Director of Communications, Alumni Advisor, and CLeW Director. Currently, Natalie serves as the Leadership Seminar Chair of HOBY Maryland, where she leads Recruitment and Fundraising efforts and serves as a member of the HOBY Maryland Corporate Board.
Participating in HOBY quite literally changed the trajectory of Natalie's life, inspiring her to pursue a career in School Counseling and to earn a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership, with her dissertation focused on intentional diversity recruitment within high school leadership programs, research that has directly translated to her work within HOBY. Natalie lives in Germantown, Maryland with her partner and their four cats and when she is not binging Ink Master or Doctor Who, she enjoys dancing and skydiving!
